An implant is a small screw-shaped root, most often titanium,
placed into the jawbone where your natural root used to be. The material is tissue-friendly, so the bone fuses to it — a process much like a bone healing after a fracture. That fusion is what makes an implant hard-wearing.
Once healed, an abutment is fitted on top and a crown is made in our own laboratory. Three components, one tooth.

Honestly, the timeline varies: a new tooth can be ready within hours in the best case, or take the better part of a year in the most involved one. Step through the sequence.
X-rays and a CBCT scan, impressions or an intraoral scan, and a full assessment of the mouth. Only then is the plan drawn up. Where suitable, the implant position is planned in 3D beforehand using the Camlog system we run at the clinic.

The standard route. A Camlog or Straumann implant, an abutment, and a zirconia crown from our own laboratory.
A two-piece ceramic implant with a zirconia crown, for patients who want no metal in the mouth at all. Very few clinics in Europe offer this.
Where bone quality is good and the tooth is coming out anyway, the implant can go in at the same visit with a temporary crown straight away.

Prices are indicative. The exact price of your treatment is calculated at your first consultation, once we have seen the X-rays. GBP figures are converted for guidance at approximately 427 HUF to the pound.
Send an X-ray, or three photos on your phone. A dentist will look at it and write back with a provisional plan and an indicative price — before you commit to anything, and before you book a flight.

Anywhere from a few hours to around a year. It depends on the condition of
your teeth and gums, whether you need bone grafting, whether a tooth has to
come out first, which tooth is being replaced, and the implant type. Bone
integration alone takes three to four months.

Upload a panoramic X-ray if you have one. If not, three clear phone photos are enough to start. A dentist reviews what you send and you receive a written provisional plan with an indicative price.
No obligation, no deposit, and no need to travel to find out whether an implant is even the right answer.
