Four implants go into each jaw. The two at the back are placed at an angle. That angle is the whole idea: it lets them reach the solid bone at the front, and skips the thin bone at the back.
One bridge is then fixed onto all four. It comes out only when your dentist unscrews it for cleaning.
Because the back implants tilt into better bone, many people avoid grafting altogether. That saves six to nine months of healing and a whole stage of treatment.
It will not suit everyone. If the bone at the front is also gone, we will tell you and suggest something else.
Our All-on-4 package covers both jaws for €17,000. The lower teeth are fixed. The upper is removable and has no plate across the roof of your mouth, so you keep the taste of your food.

A CBCT scan shows exactly where your solid bone sits. That is what decides the angle of the back implants. We plan the positions before you sit in the chair.
Teeth that cannot be saved come out. In many cases this happens on the same day as the implants go in.
Two implants go in straight at the front. Two go in at an angle at the back. Under local anaesthetic, or a general if you prefer.
The bone grips the implants over three to four months. You are not left without teeth during this time.
The final bridge is built here, tried in, adjusted until the bite is right, then fixed onto the implants.

Because a bridge spreads its load. Four well-placed implants can carry a full arch, and angling the back two reaches the strongest bone you have.
Not by you. The lower bridge is fixed and only your dentist can unscrew it. In our package the upper arch is removable, and it has no plate across the roof of the mouth.
Yes — that’s the defining feature of All-on-4. During your surgery appointment, we place four implants and fit a full arch of temporary teeth on the same day, so you don’t leave without a smile. This temporary bridge lets you eat (a soft diet initially) and speak normally while the implants fuse with your jawbone, a process called osseointegration. After 3–6 months of healing, we replace the temporary bridge with your final, custom-made permanent restoration. Please note that “same-day teeth” means a functional temporary set, not the finished result — the permanent bridge takes longer.
Usually not, and this is one of the main advantages of All-on-4 over traditional implants. The four implants are angled strategically — the back two tilted at roughly 45 degrees — to anchor into the denser, more available bone at the front of the jaw, avoiding areas like the sinus cavity where bone loss is common. This design means most patients with moderate bone loss can proceed without grafting. However, in cases of severe bone loss, a graft or a zygomatic implant approach may still be recommended. A CT scan and consultation will confirm which applies to you.
The fixed bridge sits slightly above the gumline, so you’ll clean underneath it as well as around it. We recommend a water flosser (essential for reaching under the bridge), a soft-bristled or electric toothbrush, and interdental brushes for the gaps between the bridge and gum. Superfloss or implant-specific floss threaders help too. Antibacterial mouthwash helps control bacteria. You’ll also need professional cleaning appointments every 3–6 months, where we check the implants, tighten components if needed, and remove any built-up plaque you can’t reach at home.
