Camlog implants

Camlog: the system we plan in 3D we plan in 3D

Camlog is a German implant system. It is the one we use for computer-guided placement, where the position is worked out on screen before anything is done in your mouth.

The three things worth knowing first

A German implant system

Camlog is one of the two systems we place here. It is made in Germany, and it is used widely across Europe.

The part that matters to a patient is not the badge. It is that the system is common enough that a dentist anywhere in Europe can service it years from now, and that the parts will still be made.

Planned on screen first

Camlog has its own system for placing implants using 3D computer planning, and we use it here at the clinic.

The scan is turned into a plan before surgery. The position, angle and depth are all decided in advance rather than judged in the moment. On a tight case, that is the difference between a good result and a compromise.

  • 3D computer-guided placement
  • Planned before you are in the chair
  • Widely serviced across Europe
  • German manufacture

How we choose

We place both. Camlog starts at 200,000 HUF and Straumann at 250,000 HUF, and the difference is not a difference in quality.

It comes down to your bone, the position of the tooth, and what is going on top. Your surgeon will explain which one they are recommending for you and why. If the answer is only about price, ask again.

  • Camlog from 200,000 HUF
  • Straumann from 250,000 HUF
  • Both placed here routinely
  • Choice made case by case
YOUR OPTIONS

Hear it from someone who has been through it

A full mouth rebuild is a big decision. It helps to hear how it actually went for someone else.

THE PROCEDURE

Procedure — interactive step-through

Honestly, the timeline varies: a new tooth can be ready within hours in the best case, or take the better part of a year in the most involved one. Step through the sequence.

YOUR OPTIONS

Not every gap needs the same solution

Titanium implant and crown

From £745

The standard route. A Camlog or Straumann implant, an abutment, and a zirconia crown from our own laboratory.

Ceramic, metal-free

From €1,700

A two-piece ceramic implant with a zirconia crown, for patients who want no metal in the mouth at all. Very few clinics in Europe offer this.

Immediate implant

From €1,000

Where bone quality is good and the tooth is coming out anyway, the implant can go in at the same visit with a temporary crown straight away.

Not sure whether you need an implant at all?

Send an X-ray, or three photos on your phone. A dentist will look at it and write back with a provisional plan and an indicative price — before you commit to anything, and before you book a flight.

COMMON QUESTIONS

FAQs

Is Camlog a good implant?

It is a mainstream German system used across Europe. The bigger factor in how well an implant does is the planning and the surgeon, not the brand on the box.

Different manufacturers price differently. It is not a quality gap, and we would not place a system we did not trust.

Camlog is widely used in Europe, so parts and knowledge are available. Worth checking with your own dentist before you travel, and we will send them the details of exactly what was placed.

The implant position is planned in 3D on a computer from your scan, before surgery. It means the angle and depth are decided in advance rather than judged on the day.

Yes, and we will explain which we recommend for your case and why. If price is the only reason given, ask for a better one.

The standard ones are. Whether we also place their ceramic range here is

The implant itself. The abutment and the crown are priced separately, which is why our list shows all three.

Find out where you stand

Upload a panoramic X-ray if you have one. If not, three clear phone photos are enough to start. A dentist reviews what you  send and you receive a written provisional plan with an indicative price.

No obligation, no deposit, and no need to travel to find out whether an implant is even the right answer.
